So to answer your first question, it is two aircraft, not two of each. You could make that two fighters, two naval bombers, 2 tactical bombers Level 4, or a combination. To answer second question, the way to make carriers attack other ships is by clicking the attack button, and then clicking the ship you wish to attack. The carrier will attack on contact, like a submarine or tank. Hope this helps!
