How does the new system work, can you still create/join/leave at will, the description says no backstabbing so does that mean you cant leave?

I am guessing you created or joined a team game. These games allow you to choose (or assign you) your team at the beginning and you are not able to change it. You are not able to declare war on your team mates.

Anyone can create a coalition at any time. To join a coalition you must apply and then be accepted by the leader (might want to message them, there are no notifications for applications for some reason). You can leave a coalition at will, you simply cannot attack anyone in the coalition without leaving it/kicking them (if you're leader).
