One of the goofiest COW graphics is the use of American battledress for British, Australian, Canadian and other Empire and Commonwealth troops. (And, I might add, it's even worse that the designers chose German battledress and equipment icons for New Zealand and several other American and British territories.) Britain and the Empire and Commonwealth countries usually shared the same basic battledress, and British and Empire troops served in every theatre. I would hope that our German game designers would prioritize the addition of British battledress in the near future.
And just as an aside, who the heck decided to use the Hawker Sea Fury as the exemplar icon for WW2 Allied fighter aircraft? The Sea Fury did not even enter active Royal Navy service until after the war had ended. While the Sea Fury was one of the four or five best piston-engine aircraft ever built, it became a relatively obscure footnote to history because it never saw action during WW2. Moreover, there are other almost universally recognized iconic Allied aircraft that served with both British and American air forces during the war, including the Supermarine Spitfire and P-51 Mustang -- two of the most successful fighter aircraft ever built.
