Computer vs Inactive Players

Kind of a stupid question. So are Computer and Inactive players the same thing? Is there a difference between the two? I would like to know if Algeria would have stronger army than 200 units after 29 days, before I send half my troops to invade. Forum attachment

Of course, a country played by a player before being taken on by the computer can have a better building structure and more meaningful units than a country led by AI from the beginning, but the AI is equally smart stupid in both cases.

Effectively, yes.

However, inactive players may return to the game unless they have been removed. As a practical matter, most inactive players never return.

You can still farm points off of Inactive players though
