contact combat-artillery

-If we already talked about it, I' sorry but I didn't find it

-It happened to me tree times now, I'm bombing a city using artillry (Because i can't use bombers) so I put my artillery i the back and some tanks between the city and my artillery. later I come and found that the ennemy mouved from the city, passed my tanks line, and could reach my artillery. it took me 2min to understand, so my question is : how the ennemis passed my tanks and didn't die ? can we now retreat from a contact combat ? is it a bug ?

PS the ennemy can not get to my artillery without passing by my tanks

when I came back my artillery in the back was fighting against the ennemy alone, my line of tanks wasn't in combat and had 100% moral

-I also have an other question : I attacked an AI but I didn't take any city, I changed my relation with him to peace in order to finish the war, my question is he going to attaque me during the next 2/3 days before making peace ?

Artillery isn't as effective as it is in s1914, I haven't tried out the SPA yet which might be better. Use tactical bombers to take out units and strategic bombers to hit buildings they're much better. Artillery is more to support advances.

Could they have approached you from behind?

I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. (The Revelation of John 6:8 ESV)

no impossible

I believe something like this was reported, though before we draw the conclusion of this being a bug, there are multiple things that happened. Please tell us if any of the following could have happened:

  1. Artillery bombed by aircraft?
  2. Ships bombed the artillery?

P.S. You Italian?

The past is a foreign country.

Lol.

I have noticed that units are not actually in melee, they are a few klicks out when they engage.

Yeah? I always discover something new about this game every day.

aahahaa. Buttons you can click but I can't click.

I have to wonder though, after a certain point, do different unit types overlap and become pointless? If this was a tactical game I could see a greater need for variety.....various heavy weapons teams, flame weapons, mine fields.....

...that would be a weird unit. An exploding field. Anyways, we don't have the ability to really micromanage so after a point things get a little muddy.
