What do Paratroopers convert too. Commandos? Any help would be appreciated
They convert to the other version of paratroopers. Are you talking 1.0 or 1.5? 1.5 has the stats for both version in the research tab, 1.0 just has the already landed version AFAIK.Funnelroo wrote:

yeah the troops they turn into are still paratrooper ground units. diffent from infantry and commandos

They are out of their 15 hour cool down period and look like infantry, it states to convert to target unit is a 6 hr upgrade? I am still not understanding this, sorry. They are not upgraded in research, so it can't be that..
There are 2 units that are both called paratroopers. The first is the one that can take off from airfields because they are equipped with gliders and parachutes. The second is the one that has already used their gliders and parachutes and can no longer be airdropped and has to slog along like regular infantry. In 1.5 the guys without gliders& parachutes can return to an airfeild to get new parachutes and gliders.Funnelroo wrote:

They turn from type of paratrooper into another type of paratrooper with a different graphic and without the ability to fly. That is literally all that is happening.
