- I think you're right; your infantry should have still got the 5 points damage. Once it was gone, then damage distribution shifted to 100% to the medium tank (now 5 points) and would get 10 damage points in the next battle.

Damage Distribution - Please explain
So lets say I have a stack of 1 INF and 1 MED tank. The INF unit has .1 strength and the Med Tank has 10. I am the defender.
I am being attacked by a formation that says it does 10 pts damage to all types of units, INF, Armor Car, Tank, Air, etc.
When the attacking formation hits my unit, because my damage distribution is 50% INF and 50% Tank, does 5 PTs of damage go to the INF even thought it only needs .1 to be killed? Or does the computer take into account unit health? My guess 5 pts goes to the armor and that my tank only gets 5 points of damage from my opponent. But on the next round, only my tank is left so my tank will get all PTs applied to it.
Is that right?
