There was a bug where the destroyer used the cruiser’s view range, but they fixed that over a year ago.

destroyer spy range with cruiser
If a destroyer is stacked with a cruiser will it use it's own view range to spot subs or use the longer range of the cruiser?

I'm 99% sure the destroyer will only reveal subs within its own range, not that of the Cruiser.
