Disembark Time Reset

I disembarked two tanks to a AI nation. Before my troops finished their disembarkation(about an hour to be finished) some troops of another nation has occupied the province and my troops stopped disembarking and began to embark( embark time needed is around 20 minutes only) I demanded them to go ashore but the disembark time was restarted :wallbash

Could someone explain this situation? Thanks in advance!

So you were disembarking to declare war on this nation or already had declared war and then another nation scooped the province whom you were not at war with? So the command to your armies would stop.

So if you had an hour left of a four hour dissembark, I'm with you that the expection would be a 3 hour embark that could be changed to a one hour dissembark. Is that how you saw it?

I also just experience odd thing with that. I was attacking disembarking armies on one dot. One group had one hour left and other two had 3 hours. They were all showing disembarking time when hovering over them. Then coalition partner arrives with land units to attack. Two of the landing units now show as defending without disembarking time, though if I clicked on the unit and drilled down there was a countdown. And then the disembarker retreated one of the army groups from shore even though it was 2 hours into disembarking time and the other started disembarking from scratch.

So bottom line, I don't have any answers. In war no results are guaranteed.

Ugh, that’s annoying! Looks like the game treats it as a new disembark order when the province changes hands. Try pausing and waiting for a safe time to land or sending a new order when the coast is clear. It should fix the issue, but it’s definitely a bit of a hassle!

Yeah you are totally right. And I think that disembark time can be paused but cannot be reset as it's not making sense to retreat troops completely within far less minutes than original disembark time.

Yeah after a few days my troops were trying to embark on my land but it revolted to separately my enemy and my ally and disembark time reset once again. However if you are embarking on where your other troops have already taken then the time remains the same.
