Do noobs get medium tanks early?

So I’m playing a clash of nations as Britain, and I invade the level 12 France, who has a kills to losses ratio of 19:1, and has only been a member for the day, I understand if he got these stats from a war with me, but he already has 3 medium tanks and more light tanks? Is this normal or is he a wallet warrior?

They get 2 units at start, not one, and operations give medium tanks too.

Yea it's this. IIRC they get one medium and then the choice between a medium and a mech inf. And maybe an arty too if they complete some intro tasks? That I'm not sure of. Maybe that's the third medium, if that's what you mean by operations.

If by operations you mean the unit cards, those are subject to in-game day restrictions that match research availability AFAIK, so I don't think medium tank cards are deployable on day 1. France, as Allies doctrine, can't produce or airdrop new mediums until day 4.

When I made my new account, I automatically got 1 MT, then was able to choose between another MT and a mech inf. And then in the first week, I got units like arty, an LT, and an RA I think. But I assume those units the noobs only get if they stay active.

Probably not a noob. Probably someone starting a new account to reset their stats because they care too much about k/d

True, but I introduced a friends to the game a week ago, he played Sweden and took all of Germany Poland, France, UK and Russia, he just seems to have a natural skill for the game.
