Do Railway Gun stack counter strategies exist?

What would be the best counter to those large stacks of RRG’s with meat shields and AA, other than the same thing? Is there even one? The only things I can think of is pumping out like 5 nukes, throwing them over and dodging or taking ints, then doing enough damage to blow up the stack. Obviously that’s not the most cost effective thing, though if they do not have ints and you wait long enough, let them capture a province and move out of its center, you can nuke the province and get damage done that way. Still, not always gonna be doable.

Another idea is getting them near the coast and then using huge fleets to bombard the stacks, making sure to get as much damage done before they retreat out of range and bombard you. These stacks seem like the meta in the game, and even though I usually can just overwhelm them, I’d hope there is possibly another option rather than accepting a lot of damage and throwing your melee units at them.

Oh I forgot to mention there extremem importance when fighting someone with railroad gun stack.

I was playing a match in HWW as Spain, and India had a stack of 4 railroad guns with 2 lvl 5 aa units, I tried attacking it with my own railroad guns and they stood no chance and producing a stack of rairoad guns was gonna be too expensive. My airforce was also getting ripped to shreds cuz of his high leveled aa. Besides Aircraft wasnt really my strategy at the time as I was fighting in Africa and building enough airstrips to be able to attack anywhere in Africa was way to expensive. Eventually what I had to do was gather some of my weaker units that were partially dead or just weak, like militia and I surrounded the railroads guns with it, at the time I had full control of Africa except two provinces the Rail Road guns were stationed in, so surrounding them was pretty easy. I then moved all of the surrounding units in at the same time, delayed them to arrive at the same time and waited for his guns to start firing on the ground units, and timed my Paratroopers to attack, I had about 6 lvl 2 paratroopers, they suffered heavy losses due to the aa, but then caused the railroad guns to attack at close range which allowed my ground units to continue advancing. Eventually the Railroad guns were destroyed, 2 paratroopers survived, and some of the ground units.

I found this post in thread paratroopers 1.5 posted by Porter,

That’s a very specific situation though, and paratroopers kinda suck else wise, so I’d die another way by wasting my resources on them…

Yes it seems also that would only work if the enemy is offline

But some can stay up long enough, and timezones! Some may be waking up as you sleep!
