Do Rockets inflict structure damage if they get shot down by AA?

So let's say an enemy launches a flying bomb with 25 HP at my city with a L3 tank plant. In the city, I have a stack that would deal 40 defensive damage to air units. So, when the flying bomb hits, it would be destroyed by my stack, but would it also damage the tank plant?

I am pretty sure the rocket would still give structure damage

Judging by nukes, the damage comes after the hit, so if you damage or kill something before or even when it hits you you’ll take less damage. So I think it will be shot down.

Nope. Defensive damage always comes before attack damage, so that unit would be killed with 0 damage done to your troops.
