So they said AC and inf equals good AA defense, and use ints also. Is that good enough?

If you're active, and use enough interceptors to defend your stacks at every point, it can be. Personally, in some games I like to use SP AA, as it means I don't have to worry as much about massive air forces destroying me whilst I'm asleep. Also, I can't always be online - planes require huge activity to maintain and use effectively, and I find AA to be easier in terms of they're pretty automated.
It's a matter of personal preference, really. None of us are at the top top level of the game, so an in-depth analysis isn't always required!
Have a blessed day <3

Depends, but other units can usually have enough air defense. I very rarely ever use AA and it usually isnβt a problem for me.

Honestly, I almost never produce AA, unless the enemy is just throwing low-level planes at me. Even then, I prefer SPAA, but research and production costs are high, so its not for everyone. Ints or rocket fighters are prolly better, and certain units have decent air defense dmg, which may be sufficient

Regular AA is a top unit. SPAA is meh, I never use it.

You produce AA? Or use the starting units? And if you do produce, what is your usual troop composition you use it with?

Produce, lots of it. Whatever my main stacks are, RRG or arty or RA or even HT

Hmm, interesting. You prefer damage efficiency over speed? And you're using meat shield stacks I presume? Otherwise I don't see a method for you to escape melee combat, unless you are using those HTs in the RRG stack.

Even at high levels though, motorized can kill it. Thatβs without support, of courseβ¦

I don't use HTs with those other units, just referencing the time I spammed HTs for fun and chose to pair them with AA.
Meat shield stacks are overrated. If I absolutely needed to, I'd pull the AA out of my ranged stack to serve as a meat shield, but that rarely happens.

I hope you do that once and then some maniac uses the loss of the AA to nuke the RRG stack⦠would be glorious.

And if you get rushed by LTs, mot inf, or dare I say it, MTs? Do you keep necessary counters within your stack, or do you rely on air support?

Depends on circumstances and doctrine. I would probably have LT stacks of my own, and always ints for cover except maybe if comintern.
