Unless someone is foolish enough to use huge amounts of armored units, no. They are great when fighting those but else-wise you don’t really need them.

Do you need Tank Destroyers?
I always find myself researching tank destroyers, but then hardly producing them. Is there any benefit for them?

You should never "always find yourself researching" random units you do not plan to use. TDs are good as Allied and perhaps Comintern, altho AT is just the better option in that case. If you have maxed out your industry, have spare metal, oil and RM, and aren't using MTs or HTs, then go for TD. In any other case, they're probably not worth it.FrancoMadrid wrote:

They are good against LT as well, and in the right circumstances against MT. I'd go into detail about meat-shielding but the OP is just gonna have to read the MT thread to see that.Carking the 6th wrote:
