Doctrines research - two numbers

So in the doctrines manual here: https://forum.callofwar.com/?custom-page/&id=35

it states research times being for instance: -1/-2.

What do both of these numbers mean? I cannot seem to find anything describing both numbers.

Its mean the day of availability for research the next level of unit.

For example railroad gun is available on day 6 for research but axis doctrine can do it on day 4
