If the game is ranked (check the game details) then yes. a private game can be ranked when at least 6 players join and it runs with anti-cheat on.

Does a victory in a private game count towards your overall victories?
My friends and I are in a custom private game. We're curious if one of us wins, that it would count towards as a win. Since it counts as a joined game, I assume that it would count if you won.
