Does waiting/delayed battleship (or any other long-range-attack-unit) still attack while waiting?

One of my battleships is currently attacking land units,

andI have given it a delayed command to move somewhere else.

Will my battleship still keep attacking the land troops while waiting to move?

("next attack" is not written there anymore, only "waiting")
