Favorite maps?
The basis is simple: what are peoples two favorite maps in the game?
To lay out a few rules now:
• No speed versions of the same map; there has to be a game changing difference to be counted. Same goes for seasonal maps such as the Antarctica Christmas and April offensive maps. Assume all types that are not found are part of the their original map.
•The map has to appear often and/or consistently enough. If it’s a super rare map that isn’t particularly famous and appears almost never, then it can’t really be counted.
•Some maps that make changes will still be thrown in with a similar parent one, since they are not too different and/or well known to constitute changes.
•Different game modes with the same states such as Doomsday or All Countries are also added to their original, as they use the same base map.
Now, if you have any changes, suggestions or things I missed please go ahead and tell me. Now let’s see the maps…

Well I was looking for the favorite. If you are not sure a good idea is to look on your profile for your most played map, it will usually be your favorite. You can change your vote though, I think.Claudio NVKP wrote:

I don’t think so, I see it commonly enough, and many players that I click on have it as their most played map. It’s also not clash of Nations; the Americas and much of the Middle East and North Africa are not shown. It’s also such a big change over any other map that I believe you can count it. It’s probably one of the minimum levels of acceptable maps here, but I think you can count it.Claudio NVKP wrote:

WaW is probably the best--best competition, most active players, plus the size and duration that make for a great challenge. Honorable mention to Pacific Conquest, imo, because it's the best of the rest if you like to play as Pan Asian.

I vote 100 player WaW.
However, I'd have to say the 22 player map is a close second, but only because that's the one most commonly chosen for AvA games and internal alliance games. It's getting harder and harder to play this as a strategy game otherwise. My current game is on the 100 player WaW map. It's day six and there seems to be little in between, so far mostly either inactives or shameless credit card commanders.

HWW and W@W... I like the big maps.
Small ones are nice for a change but W@W feels like the "classic" and HWW is great for RP'ing and having fun with re-enacting (or changing) history. 
Aeroplanes are interesting toys but of no military value.

I agree, and it is my favorite game mode, but it is not a map. It uses the HWW base and is therefore part of it. Since that event is also your favorite you can simply vote for it here. Though I may do a poll for game modes soon…Brando Dilla wrote:

The issue of 2x maps being part of the regular rotation (once every 24hrs or once every 10th map, etc.) was raised some days ago...
I hope Bytro adds a 2x feature to their map rotation.
