I actually just won a Finland game by a massive difference. Main strat should be deciding soon of you want to take Scandenavia first or one of the Russian states. I like making a secret alliance with a russian territory (whether commie russia or russian empire) and going at Estonia, Sweden, Norway, possibly Denmark if Germany doesnt have it. Also you can afford to leave the top half of finland undefended, which is a massive advantage. You also dont have to worry about the US like most of europe has to; just make sure to bltz through either scandenavia or the soviet bloc countries and make piece with the biggest guy through secret alliance. After a week I ended up coalitioned with Commie russia and canada and won. Ended up leaving that coalition and we have an all out war before letting them remake a coalition with me for the group win a week after that. Keep in mind that Germany is actually a great target once you get to the Polish border (that is, if you take out/make peace with a russian as i mentioned earlier). Good luck man and keep up posted on how it goes

Also just double check how many and type of 1500 point resource provinces you have. You will get 3000 additional points from each by upgrading to level 3 industry. I can't see resources when going to spectate....grrrr. but seem to remember Caucasus had 2 food and 2 goods so had none of a couple. In that case infantry branch would be more of the focus.
That would be important but you can disregard bc Finland's resource start is pefect for axis rush strat and also caucuses isnt close. Closest bot to take as finald would be noway or estonia.
I am not trying to shit on you the concept is important but that problem will be solved in estonia or norway not the caucases.
Also a rush strat wouldnt need food, some boxes, but mainly metal and rare mats. Finding food and goods for axis is much more important in historically accurate maps like HWW and not really important in balanced maps since axis strat requires almost no food
I was just using Caucasus as an example because I don't know Finland's resource strength. One wouldn't choose Caucasus if they had a heavy armor game plan because it would take longer to get going. You would end up with 20K food in stock and no oil or metal in that case. Good thing is food is usually good to sell on stock market in order to buy metal and oil.
