Nope, the name simply changes because everybody assumed the game admin was a staff member. Game host should have the ability to remove the active players, the same way game admin did.

Game host and game admin difference?
I remember Back when being a game host meant your admin and could possibly kick inactive players from game. With me being game host now, i seem to have lost that ability. New update i might have missed?

i am on a 22 prison map and am the only guy active left. i want to kick so guys who might as well be AI and cant find out how. my name says game host. can some one help?

In the upper lefthand corner of your game screen, click on the rectangle where your country's flag and your user name appear. It should take you directly to the game administrator/host's screen and control buttons.

Before, Game host can kick out active players. But now they can only kick on inactive ones. And they are also renamed as "Game Admin" instead of "Game Host". Am i missing something or is it just the new update?

im playing on a 22 map and Im game admin it doesnt give me the option to kick select players. if i kick all will that reset the Map or just kick players that are still alive?

As JR says, you cannot select players, kick either all inactives or none. Active players cannot be kicked and so after kicking the map continues to run as normal.Hipeople1234 wrote:

One background for kicking was once to free up places for new players, but these days it's anyway not possible to join games already running 7 (or 10) days.
However, now the only reason for kicking is to ensure inactive players will not surprisingly return.
