Double post? No.

I think there should be a map similar to America: Homefront called Germany: Vaterland, which would have the states of Germany and surrounding areas. Bytro is a German company after all.

This must have been a glitch. I didn't mean to post it twice. Sorry.
I will love to play a round like that and win Germany with Osterreich lol.
Dir Vaterland!
tbh a central europe: vaterland would be cool for sure
The devs already said small scale maps for single regions aren’t happening. I remember a guy asking for a French one getting rebuked by Freezy.
He was french
I also have a problem to take any suggestion seriously by someone with a Nazi-smelling nickname like "Deutschen Volke"... yeah I know what it literally means ("German people"), but in the context of a WW2 game, it sounds really, really bad. "Deutschland über alles", another slogan commonly used by the Nazi's, as a signature doesn't help much either.
Even if this is a WW2 game, there is no room in it for Nazi slang or symbolism, you'd better refrain from it or find yourself banned pretty soon.
Damn Wehrmaboos
Just because I am a patriotic German, doesn’t mean I’m a Nazi. If I was, I would have a swastika picture and put “Sieg Heil” in my signature.
As for “Deutschland Über Alles”, it’s the first line of the German national anthem, which was written several decades before the Nazis even existed. That’s like saying you can’t say “We the people” because it was used by a country that did slavery. Just because a country does some bad things doesn’t give you the right to attack its culture, or people who have no affiliation with the former state.
Both the phrases could be "explained away" easily as non-Nazi nationalist language, I agree. All I'm saying, in the context of a WW2 game, they just sound really bad. I'm sure you know the swastika was also a positive Sanskrit symbol meaning something like "well-being" or "happiness" long before the Nazi's started using it. Using it today has given it the Nazi stench though. To a slightly lesser extent, the same applies to your terminology. "Endlösung" also just means "final solution", right?
I realize it can be hard for Germans today to carry all that history around, especially when they're really normal words, but hey, that's what happens when your fathers or grandfathers basically declared war on everyone else. If your only punishment (and I know it isn't) would be your need to be cautious about using certain phrases, that's not too much of a price to pay for unleashing what you did, I think.
I still think that no one would ban you for having your signature as "Deustchland Ueber alles", though of course, you would need to be a bit careful. Nowadays, people get offended for no reason.
Still a Wehrmaboo regardless!

Wow, according to that, an American who is proud of his country encourages slavery!Carking the 6th wrote:

Patriotism isn't fascism. Stop being ignorant.

Perhaps it’s because you are also a Wehrmaboo, but that just stands for anyone who likes Germany, most of the time. Don’t know what definition you’re using. I never said anyone was a fascist, but you getting defensive about it is a little suspicious. The Mister Class wrote:

Stop calling me a whermaboo. One can be patriotic for Germany without being labelled as a worshipper of Murderers.Carking the 6th wrote:

Again, Wehrmaboos aren’t always Nazis. They just like Germany. I don’t know what definition you are using. I could care less about your love for a random Europe country of choice.
Well, we have our Dutch nationalists in here. Thye're kinda disgusting, while also being kinda cute. They seem to think Netherlands can be a nationalist identity, while trading with the world and be very rich as well. To me, it is obvious that you have to choose between those two: have your national identity, OR be rich. It seems like only a difference in the nuance to German nationalists: choose to be alone and preserve your nationalist identity and fear everything that threatens it; OR be part of the world community and prosper. When choosing the latter, it is almost unavoidable that you lose national identity, and yeah, that is a valid source of fear for many. But you cannot pretend that you can have both, unless you want to plan to enslave foreign nations again... and we know what history's answer to THAT was.
