War Bonds make the gold problem even worse. I think they need to remove War Bonds from the game completely ASAP!!!!

The developers want to feed their children. Mana... erm, I mean war bonds, are their way of hiding people who spend money on the game, so they can still claim they're "great strategists" or something. the fact that it changes the game into some sort of "WW2 game with wizards" doesn't matter to them; this is their earning model and we have to live with it or leave.

Getting closer and closer to the latter.

When the enemy is driven back, we have failed. When he is cut off, encircled and dispersed, we have succeeded.

The war bonds have destroyed the game. I joined a game for the first time in like 3 months and played my first game with that shit. The experience was truly awful and disgusting. As the OP said, it has made the gold thing worse. People being able to heal their planes to maximum health after your AA damage them and strike again and again is so awful. I hate this thing.

How on earth has it made the gold thing worse. Has improved it in my book. War bonds = massive improvement, suppresses buying gold.

I agree. They really need to start making gold free games that charge a gold entry fee.

I think what the OP meant is that the amount of gold actions has increased, not necessarily the amount of gold being spent.

OK. I see healing is [now] force reinforcement(s) 8)

War Bonds are nothing more than purple colored gold...so yes, war bonds have increased the use of "gold" actions in every game. Who needs strategy and game planning anymore? War bonds have indeed made the gold thing worse, in fact it is now required to use "gold" actions to succeed. Sad day, cuz this was a great game to play, but war bonds (purple gold) has ruined the game for me.

Absolutely! The game is ruined for me too!

I dont get you two. To obtain meaningful gold costs real money, not play money, real money out of your pocket. War bonds give you most, but not all that for free. So what's your problem?

If your problem is healing units - which I suspect it might be, that is a games mechanics issue, not a gold issue. Gold = real money, war bonds = resource.

The game mechanics are pretty poor imho. However we aren't allowed to criticise in case it upsets the 'elite'.

We've talked about healing before and to me it isnt an issue ie it is easy to solve practically. We dont have retreat, you cant surrender. All things like this happen in reality but the game designers aren't interested. Oh and dont get me going about submarines. Wouldnt be surprised if Bytro didn't know what one was.

A good game spoilt by stupid things but hey ho.

Only one thing could safe this game: make warbonds accumulate speed offline 4 time higher, then online.
