Well if the Germans didn’t pull all those brigades away to Russia they may have taken Paris… they got very close. Hell, even with just a few more victories they could have done it in 1914.

Fr*nch forces were very close to mutiny and collapse. One of the main reasons the miracle of the Marne happened was because of a whole I’m the German line. More troops in that line, less problem. You take Paris, and while France probably wouldn’t immediately surrender their morale would collapse and you could slowly grind down until they mutiny like our timeline, but worse.
