Has the standard AI gotten an upgrade in the last 18 months?

In the last three weeks of playing my first CoW game after an absence of 18 months, I have observed a number of AI actions that I believe are new and probably represent a not-insignificant upgrade of the AI's programmed behaviors. Is this true?

Below is a screenshot of a damaged L1 rocket (i.e., a V1 buzzbomb), which was damaged and its L1 airfield damaged, by a single tactical bomber on direct attack. The launching L1 airbase was in Cleveland on the 22-player map. As you can see below, the aircraft truck convoy carrying the wounded L1 rocket is attempting to escape across Lake Erie!

were there nuclear rockets, subs, battleships and carriers in WW2? I think not. There was only an atomic bomb...

Perhaps this game needs to get back to the basics. When a leader leaves the game, his country should also die, not have an AI take over with all there cheats....just my opinion.

This was most likely a visual loading issue. Sometimes units "disappear" and reappear due to lag in the server.

AI getting no fog of war
AI definitely has a fog of war. And even if they didn't, they probably wouldn't know how to use that advantage.

You are right. These didn't exist. However, the technology for a nuke rocket did exist, since a country could just replace a normal warhead in their rocket with a nuclear bomb. In 1.5, nuclear ships have been completely removed. And as to your statement about AI cheating, they don't. Also, what do you mean die? Who would own the land?

Nuclear bombs, in WW2, were too large to fit into the tip of a missile, hence the need to transport them in B-29s. It wasn't til well after the war that miniaturization of nukes allowed them to fit into missiles

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner . . . .
