No one has made something like this yet, but i can start making statisical lists of maps including all countries, their location, and production(s) in the Manual section.

Help re: Starting Resources, CoN 22
This is an awkward question...
I'm sure there is a "starting resources" (and/or "best country") thread for Clash of Nations somewhere here in the Forum, but I'm having trouble finding the appropriate thread. My search results so far are just beating around the bush.
I'm looking for a list or chart of some kind, and also, importantly, the various comments of other, more experienced, players. I'm looking for early-game tactics and strategies (depending on country and doctrine), and economics.
Would someone points me to the appropriate thread(s) or link(s)?

Oh, wow... I didn't mean to create work for anyone, I just assumed some related thread(s) already existed.
Starting with Clash of Nations, I want to be able to study the countries offline - their resources, their doctrines, their research progression, strengths, weaknesses, early-game tactics and strategies, economics, and things like that - without having to join a game. I want to come to each game prepared (as best I can), so that the game is more interesting for me, and also more interesting for the experienced players I encounter. (I don't expect to win, lol, but I want to be able to give them a real challenge.)

I've looked for something like that previously, for other maps. I can't recall who to give credit to, but someone pointed out that you can hover over province centers to get resource information even in spectate mode. It'll take you some manual effort, but you can create that list yourself without joining if you spectate a newly-created game.
I did this with HWW cities once, that took a while.
