Your first priority should always be to evaluate your surroundings, which you have done.
Next, I would recommend an immediate annexation of Chile. It's good to get more cities ASAP.

Historic World at War - 1.5
Hello,
Anyone know much about the starting mechanics of 1939 Historic World War in 1.5?
I decided to play this one as Argentina, and am trying to figure myself out a bit. I start as a seemingly weaker nation, though my isolation can be my benefit.
I've allied myself with Brazil, is there any insights on strategy to take for some success at this game? It looks like the larger nations are well aligned together and it will be a bit of a bloodbath in Europe - again that is good for me, for now.
I would love to hear your recommendations, as I've only ever played as UK and Germany on this map.

After acumulating economic power of whole continent of south america go over Panama channel so far as possible and build defence area. Same time go to south africa for easy expansion and more economic power.
