Hit points for buildings and improvements (?)
Several different unit types list their offensive values vs. buildings. Is there a list somewhere that shows the hit points attributed to each type of building, by level of improvement? If it exists, I've never been able to find it . . . .

Why would they not disclose this? Is this some kind of secret?nemuritor98_ wrote:

For example, when my battle group of four level 5 battleships is shelling a coastal air base, how long should I expect that it will take to destroy the air base? The spec sheets for artillery, bombers, rockets and nukes all give offensive values vs. buildings, but those numbers are fairly meaningless without knowing the hit points attributed to each type of building (and by level of improvement).
Many of the game details and mechanics are not revealed to players. Maybe in order to not allow everything to be calculated and planned in advance by players, maybe to avoid stealing ideas by other companies, maybe for some other reasons, only game owners know for sure. But that is how it is and there is no sign that anything about it will change.MontanaBB wrote:

in my experience around bytro games they tend to let users find this things, compared to their older game, s1914, the attribute table we have in cow is a lot of information, maybe it will change in the future and they will show more info? i really don't knowMontanaBB wrote:

plus we always have to remember the x factor, if(example) the barracks have 50 hp and my battleship(example) has 10 hit points, it won't mean i will destroy it in 5 hits, it could be 10 or 15 hits
Yes, I'm aware of the X factor, but a building hit points table would allow you to calculate an expected value for the destruction of buildings. Should it take one nuclear missile or two, and with what margin? How many hours, on average, should I expect my L3 self-propelled artillery to destroy a L2 fortification?nemuritor98_ wrote:

I studied probability and statistics in a graduate economics program, so I probably understand better than most the concept of a randomized x factor that renders an average result, but with randomized variation. This stuff ain't rocket science.
I agree, please tell us building hit points.
I won't post a whole list here but most buildings have 20 hitpoints per level.
