It will also give 15% bonus to your attacks in core provinces. You should be able to see that reflected in the Army Info Damage Potentials. Once everything else is applied (doctrine modifiers, terrain, etc) multiply that by 1.15 and that is what should be shown in your Damage Potentials tab.
Note: the above applies to both your attack and defense damage.
In addition, incoming damage is multiplied by 0.85. For example, if an enemy attacks you with 1 dmg, you will receive 0.85 damage.
Note: These bonuses are only applied if you own your core province. If it has been captured you no longer get the bonus.
Thanks everyone. Cheers.
As DxC pointed out, this is incorrect.SamPGS_17 wrote:

Also emphasizing something DxC said: the wiki doesn't say anything about ownership of the province, potentially implying that you get the homeland bonus in a core province even if the enemy captures it, but we've confirmed that it only applies if you own the province (and you can too by looking for the protection percentage)
Not incorrect, just incomplete. yeah I realise that my info was incomplete and DxC was helpful to me also, I didnβt realise it was a boost to attack damage. However itβs not incorrect that it decreases damage by 15% is it?jubjub bird wrote:

I donβt know if itβs just me but it seems to me you tend to be quite accusatory rather than encouraging. Maybe Iβm just being ridiculous, if so do tell me.
You're right, that may have been a little harsh. I took issue with your "only" and wanted to make clear that it wasn't quite right. It's hard enough to find information on game mechanics as it is so I try to correct things where I can, including my own misunderstandings.
Thanks. I agree I shouldnβt have said only, it was just what I thought the game mechanics were.jubjub bird wrote:
