Honest player who wants the truth to be published!
Hello guys,
Mostly in alliance games but also in public games, I am often accused of golding and this is probably because I perform quite good in matches (2.78 ratio). I wish there would be an option so I can publish my gold spending for the current match just as a matter of transparency.
Those who don't want to publish, I don't care, they have their reasons and we don't want people to stop using gold right but those who want to share it so they can show that what they say is real and not just a bunch of garbage words..!
Right now I'm on an alliance match with a "no gold" rule, and I got accused through newspaper that I probably used gold because I have too many units in too short time. I think it's fair for someone to have suspicions and I am OK with it. I did not answer anything because I want to be mature in this specific case. I just reported and asked if an admin could check my gold spending through all the game and share it on the newspaper. Do they have this ability?
In conclusion, we want gold to be used and nobody feel ashamed of using it because this is the bread and butter of bytro so I think it's fine that gold spending is not public. In another hand, we should have an option that allow to share this information publicly if we want!!

Gold checks are only made in community maps that are created by our support staff and have the no gold rule. I don't think publishing proof of not using gold is needed, just let them talk

I'm Okay with talkings but when they think you gold, they start golding as well to compensate because they think it is now OK since the ennemy is also golding! If they know you don't, they will not gold as well.

In fact, you're probably right in some way but that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Money OK, but when you have a player who thinks the other team is cheating and start cheating to compensate, they definetely have no fun and have bad emotions inside them, I hope this is not what bytro wants of their players and golders. It's called ethic and that's a responsibility that every company has.

Yes I have experienced that when an opponent was sure I used gold to get 8 artillery by day 4, so he made 27 tanks to counter me.Macalex wrote:

To this response I shall give you my experience in the past with games like these or anything competitive those that do start using gold and start cheating on those maps were probably looking for an excuse to do so anyway. If someone is going to cheat sometimes it has been my experience that some wish to have a justification for their action. By publishing its not going to make a big difference and more then likely will cause more issues then just ignoring and continuing to play the game. The only one that you really are justifying is yourself but you already know what you have and haven't done.Macalex wrote:

Whenever that happens to me I set up espionage and post a link to a screenshot of the country's armies when they are all revealed.

Gold is part of the games design and as such should be expected in every game except no gold games. I use gold sparingly and only when I think it is needed, but either way I don't care what others think and don't care if others use it.
The only time it matters is in non gold using games. Other than that who cares what they accuse you of, gold is part of the game.
