How Can I invite people to join my alliance?
it's such a PITA to have people search for your alliance with the search box we have now. Anyone know how I send a member an invite or at least a link to a person to my alliance?

If you change your alliance setting to invite only, you will be able to send players invites through their profile

Following the thread. Same question. How do I find my friend's profile so I can invite him to an Alliance?

You can find their profile by clicking their name, and then "Show stats" in chat. In game, you may click their "i" in diplomacy, then click their underlined name in that window to be brought to their profile on the main site (opens in new window)
