By now I’ve also captured most of California, got 200k money from their capital that I spent to get about 10k goods and 20k oil. Still have 270k money total!
How do I Micro a huge country?
Currently I am playing a free for all. I’m doing alright and beginning to take over my continent, but I fear that I am not protecting my coasts well. I started land locked so I made the weird decision to not get a fleet while starting in the Americas, but at least I have naval bombers.
My question is, how should you manage all this? Protecting your coasts, invading people, etc. I am not sure if I am exactly doing that well, and if I am making the right units and such. I’ll show an image for an example of my state.

Doctrine:Commie
Units: Infantry, Armored cars, Medium tanks, Artillery, SP Artillery, Interceptors (commie interceptors… my only AA defense…), Naval bombers.
At my current state, it think I’ll be able to take over all of the Americas if I’m not quickly destroyed in my sleep. The real question is how do I prepare now for the future when I may need to cross the continent and invade the rest of the world..

You have a buffer around your core, so nobody can trash anything important while you're asleep. That's already petty good. The coast is not that important to you right now. Not like you're British Columbia, with a coastal capital. That would be a different story.
Later on, when you control the whole continent, the game will change. You'll need spies to keep tabs on your main competitors, and a navy to project power overseas.
I got naval bombers patrolling that coast just in case, so at least I have that. I have a good amount of money so I’ll be getting spies on whoever will be my future enemy very soon.z00mz00m wrote:

I better get to making a fleet then, once I finish my land units research in a little.
Why wait? All you need is level 1 cruisers. Start building them and don't stop. Research up to level 3 or 4 later and do a skip level upgrade on your entire fleet. Use the level 1 ships in the meantime to clear the entire West Coast and harvest AI islands.
That’s exactly my plan! Spam a large number of low level ones and upgrade to a high level later.z00mz00m wrote:

Carking if you have HC then you can micro very easily. Can't tell since you havev the mobile UI, but if you do then it would make life 10x easier, allowing you to focus on the tasks at hand. The whole buffer 'round the core is also very true, keep that up.
I do not. But if you have some spare money lying around…_Pyth0n_ wrote:

Remember me when you are rich! ![]()
Strongest army in the game and largest that I know of. I am second place but have a larger and stronger army than the others and I’m allies with 1st place Yugo. 2nd place Amazonas has quite the low level army and will not stand a chance against me! I’ve been spamming out a fleet and will start researching upgrades soon. Things are starting to look good, if I can just crush all this AI. God bless arty.

That's a lot of resources. Put it to use.
Navy isn't required but can come in handy. Just don't neglect your ground armies, they are more important.
On that! Trying to use that commie doctrine to build and spam a much as possible. I currently have two of every building but I may go up to three since my resources are not going down.jubjub bird wrote:

Math is your friend. Compare your resource generation rates to the amount of resources consumed per hour of production for the units you're building. This will tell you how many production facilities you can sustain production from simultaneously.
Just from the looks of things, manpower may be your limiting resource.
Nice name lmao
Glory to the Red Army!
Glory to the Revolution!
Marshal of the Forum High Command
That is true. I’m buildings many R/C’s. I’m gonna have to slow down production and upgrade all my units soon as-well, most of the army is now 2-3 levels behind and ready for upgrades.jubjub bird wrote:

Don't forget upgrades. Spamming is nice, but eventually you want to upgrade your units, and you want to do that before they start to take damage. Upgrades are expensive. Once you budget for those, you may decide that you have more than enough factories.
You’re right. That is why I’ve waited two levels and started upgrading!z00mz00m wrote:

Aside from the anti-black stereotypes this seems like it will be a fun game to watch. Especially in the endgame versus the powerful Asian opponent
