How do you play as any island country? Keep your eyes open. Use naval bombers to scout and defend your shores.

How do i play as Borneo?
I played twice as Borneo and other islands quickly ruined my plans. Eg i invaded sumatra but Philipines attacked me. I had a fleet of 6 battleships in the Sumatra campaign but that meant my land was wide for naval bombardment. Any suggestions?
I think that New South Wales is better, but I like the Pan Asian doctrine.

Well, i do all that, but i always get invaded even though i build battleships asap

Perhaps allying one of the island and having them take care of the other while you attack it would help. Also make sure to attack faster. As a slow player I know how it is to want to procrastinate, but attacking by day 2/3 is pretty important.
