Every time an HWW game comes up it has already filled in the first 6 or 7 countries. Always U.S, UK, France, Soviet Union, and usually, Japan. I enjoy playing the smaller countries, but would like to try one of the big ones just once.

All it takes is having a negative kill death ratio, a winrate of 5% (max) and you suddenly start as Germany, Ussr, Great Britian or the USA with no issues.
Seriously, no idea how these players do it and most of the time, go offline right off the bat.
Sometimes there will be multiple HWW games filling at the same time. Next time, scroll down the new games tab and make sure no other HWW rounds are filling before sitting on the first one.OysterT wrote:
I just tried the "solution". I camped on the only 1939 HWW game offered and when it hit 29 I joined. Then I refreshed the page and the next game came up with 25 spots already filled! There seems to be some "expressqueue" that we mere mortals don't know about.
I got to play as USA one time, and to be honest, it was too easy and it got boring really fast. Anyone with half a brain can win as a big HWW country. There is no challenge.
You should be able to use gold to bid on playing the larger countries.
