It's the area/blast radius after the nuke has struck,it will be contaminated with nuclear fallout and any units, friendly or enemy will be damaged when they enter it until it has subsided(there might be a time period to it)

In the context of nuclear events, fallout refers to the radioactive particles that are propelled into the atmosphere during a nuclear explosion and subsequently fall back to Earth. After a detonation, debris and dust containing radioactive isotopes are ejected into the air, where they can be carried by winds over large distances. Fallout can settle on the ground or contaminate water sources, posing health risks to humans and the environment.

The severity of fallout exposure depends on factors such as the distance from the explosion, weather conditions, and the materials involved in the blast. The primary concern is the potential for radiation sickness, long-term health effects like cancer, and environmental contamination. To mitigate these risks, it’s crucial to seek shelter, avoid contaminated areas, and follow emergency guidelines in the event of a nuclear incident.
