How does shared intelligence work?

So I have the premium account, but my ally doesn't. Does that mean only I can offer shared intelligence, and they can see my intelligence but I cant see theirs?

Espionage reports are automatically shared with allies who you granted the Shared Intelligence diplomatic relation. You can give Shared Intelligence to players via their entries in the diplomacy list. Shared Intelligence can only be given by Premium Account owners.

The player that has Share intelligence must be the player to send the spy mission. The report they get, be it revel all armies or a different mission report, will be available to the player(s) they have Share Intel with. Players that are not Premium Account holders cannot share intel but can benefit from it if allied with a player that is and has selected share intel.
