How much does the AI take to accept peace?
If I change my status to peace with the AI, how much will they take to change their status to peace?
It's for the Antarctic Map. I need to take away some provinces away from them, but I don't want to be perpetually at war with them (I cannot take their bridgehead provinces).

It can depend though. I expect that the "reputation" you have comes into play here.
Many times I get tired of waiting for an AI to trust me after 2 days and just kill them off anyway.

"It depends" is the closest answer. It seems to be closely tied with how bad the fighting was between your nations, whether it take one, two, or three day changes. If the fighting was bad enough, peace may not be an option.
