how much resource per hour should should be making ?
THe positive amount per hour... do you aim for a certain amount for each resource/man power ? Do you try to keep @ +200.hr or more or what is a good rule of thumb?
thx.

Do not worry about the per hour number Build you industry in your core, both Urban and Rural, to max levels while also trying to increase your morale to 100 and keeping it there. You can prioritize which resources you build first but you should eventually be maxing them all. The rule of thumb is to always be building your economy until your core is maxed.

This is key. Keep in mind the type of units you plan to build and make sure the resources they consume are the first ones you max. Going air force? Need rares. Lots of artillery? Goods.S Schmidt wrote:

Also consider which resources your core provinces produce well and don't produce well. On the balanced maps each country has one resource that is produced by only a city, no rural provinces. You should consider expediting industry in that particular city if you think you'll need that resource.
My production goes best when my manpower generation is ahead of my resource generation, e.g. producing resources at 500/hr I may need manpower at 700/hr to keep up.
On the random 100p maps, I aim to get the key resource (fitting the build, e.g. planes=rares etc) to around 1,000/h by day 5-7, depending on he early difficulties encountered. Other resources follow 100-200 behind by then, except manpower which should lead the way several hundreds as mentioned above. After that, your core is fully maxed on industry and RC's (these lagging behind a bit in rural provs) and you can't really invest more anymore.
Competitive games are a completely different story, you'll need much more army in the early game which means a slower economic build.
