It won’t effect it very much. I trade in the thousands and it still usually doesn’t really affect things. An update to AI diplomacy is probably one of the best things the devs could add to the game.

How much to trade to increase relations?
If I trade a small amount (e.g. 20 of a resource), will that still help relations? Does trading more amounts give better relations with AI?

I think every separate trade slightly boosts your popularity; if you were to buy 1000 goods for 6.1 and the offer is still present, and you buy more, the popularity only changes once. But if you buy another 1000 goods separately for let's say, 6.3, from that same country, you get a separate popularity boost. The amount itself does not matter as far as I am aware.TheeGreenBean wrote:
