I found some promo codes online, is there a way to activate them in Call of War?

I'm more voicing something NWO has said many times in the discord, apparently you go into the in game chat (any chat; global, help, current round, etc) and type out:

/redeem #########

where the ######### is your code.

Nah, its not a virus, I have one of the Best anti virus softwares available, it said their were no viruses, the codes are just BS.

They probably just want clicks for ad revenue. I doubt the "updated today" part is real either. Its probably coded to change all the time to seem like its new.
