How to attack positions with a teammate and make sure they get the plot of land?

Playing in a team game. Never played with teammates. I have the ability to sweep an area for enemy units that I want my teammate to take. So how does that 1 work? Can he just drop units on my empty territories and have them, or does he need to be the one to actually take the provinces (as in leave any defenders on perilously low health and move on)

My understanding is, someone can correct me if wrong, whoever takes the province (physically) gets the province

I agree with Armatus. Whoever takes it, owns it, unless you go to war, or trade it (you can only trade 1 province per day, and there is a max of 7 provinces in total or somthing like that). Though if you are both fighting in the province at the same time, it seems to be hit and miss who gets it.

I dont think it was 7 in total, but the number you can give away depends on the number you receive. I think you can give 4 more than you receive

I was told that it is 5 provinces per match...firm.

As for who gets the province when multiple allies are fighting on the same? Whomever shoots the last killing shot wins the province. So, if your ally shoots again in 14 minutes and your force shoots again in 17 minutes, your ally will win the province if the last enemy dies on his shot. It's not hit-or-miss...oh dang, was that pun deliberate?

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
The saying, "beating them into submission until payday", is just golden...pun intended.

An option is to do the final clearing with TacBomb. You kill all the units but never actually put troops on the ground.

The game does a good job of requiring "boots on the ground" for a province to transfer control.

With this, your overwhelming TacBomb force could wipe out the enemy and then your partner could occupy the world with his spear carrying Militia.

Your teammate move or leave his troop on the province, declare war then make peace right away. Can be done with unlimited number of provinces. Unless he clears and take it before your turn.
