It is not possible. Unless you are also a tycoon. There are people who are literally willing to spend endless amounts of money on a simple game. The only solution is to give up.

Be careful asking for help in newspaper. I recently was in a public match and ran into an alliance who had 8 members in the game. Started asking for help from them before I realized they were all part of same alliance. Ooof

1) Nearly the entire world teams up against the golder, which in that case, makes the game pretty interesting and gives everyone a chance to defeat the golder. An emotional stance.

2) No one answers your call and decides to team with the golder instead to ensure survival. This would basically be spelling doom for you, and the only result left would be to make him dig into his wallets as much as possible. A rational stance.

I've been in both situations, and the latter is certainly not a fun situation, considering as it feels like a betrayal, yet I have to realize they stand a higher chance of surviving if they team up with the golder, and also they have every right to reject this proposal (I'm not the Pope calling for a crusade).

There is no solution to this if he is spamming gold big time.

I was in a game where the gold spammer would take a city, insta-build industries and insta-buy tanks, artillery and planes. Then move the stack on to next city. Repeat. He didn't have to care about losses or strategy.

There is no regular game method to counter this. Teaming up with other players will not work either. Not at this level.

So basically the game was just ruined for you. Quit it and join a new.

Gold usage is in the game to finance it, which makes sense. That Bytro is unwilling to put any restrictions AT ALL on gold usage does not make sense. But any suggestions of this kind are either ignored or combatted by fan-boys.
