ups. thx, I have now changed the language
With the stuff you have now, yes, the biggest stack wins.
Quality being equal, I'd expect you lose about 15-20 units.
It would be easier is you could soften it up before, with bombers or missiles.
I would recommend bombing it while attacking it.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
ok, bombing with TB after i have launched the attack with ground forces...?!
but why?
You have two forces engaging this way. Think of it as CAS rather than just standard bombing runs.Softtrader wrote:

I would like to understand the battle mechanics better. is there somewhere an accurate description ?
Why is it better, in game?
If you can spare the time, why not start bombing before your troops reach his?
Check out the manual, it shouldn't be too hard to find.Softtrader wrote:

Manual wrote:
Combat SystemWhen attacking, or bombarding from range, a unit will use its "Attacking" attribute line to inflict damage upon the enemy.
If attacked while moving or while defending, the unit will use it's "Defending" attribute line.
Each unit does varying levels of damage against the 6 different Armour Types:
-Infantry
-Armour
-Aircraft
-Structures
-Naval
-Submarine
Health is then removed from the unit's HP, which is visible on the unit's information page. A stack of units has their overall health displayed as a percentage morale.
When the stack of one unit type suffers a total HP equal to one unit, then that stack will lose a unit, and the stack condition for that unit type returns to 100%,
