How to play as Sumatra?

Quickly build a good navy, use your fleet to wipe out Borneo. If you attempt to ally I’d go for something like either Papua, Philippines or someone in Northern Australia, and then a mainland ASEAN country like Indochina or Burma. Together you take over Oceania and push into Asia. For land the regular Pan-Asian Motorized/Armored Car along with light tanks should do the trick. Make sure your fleet has everything, even carriers. Though you can drop subs. A good Air Force with a special consideration of interceptors will do. You should also get any sort of artillery and railroad guns by the time you are fighting on mainland Asia. Remember to build industry and R/C’s. There a few good threads around talking about the order in which you should make them and where. Also make sure not to form a coalition too early on. Wait a few days to make sure your chosen allies are active and effective, then you can form a coalition.
