How you could expand in historical world map 1.5

Hi so i will just be giving my advice in this thread. Criticism and support would be helpful btw. I can't give my opinion on all of them as i have not played all of them multiple times. I will be talking about the countries that i have had some experience in (Italy, British India, America and Mexico)!

First of it obviously depends on how good and aggressive the humans are but this will still give you a general idea.

Italy: imo this is one of the best countries. First of you should ally with germany or make sure he doesn't attack you maybe make a non aggression deal with germany. Check everyone stats and decide who is a threat and who to get ROW/share map with as you should in every game. Then decide if you want to go more local or imperial (for local team up with germany temporarily and invade Poland with the soviets and germany and betray either germany or russia once you are finished. If you are betraying the soviets germany will help you, if you are betraying germany persuade france and/or britian for help. Keep Libya safe but if ethopia gets lost don't worry to much about it. You will now be weak so build up and after a few days invade southern european countries so you control the Mediterranean sea. You are now part of the strongest allaince in europe and can now do what you want i guess) . If you want to go imperial: If britian and france are not allied then choose one of them to ally with and start preparing to attack the other one. Your colonies are actually pretty strong for african standards too! Don't attack straight away maybe take out Switzerland or a small ai nation in the meantime. If you are attacking france with UK make sure the UK focuses on frances core provinces and attacks slightly earlier to take pressure of you. In the meditarinian France has a better navy so make sure you have troops in libya already. In ethopia attacking frances Djibouti colony will be easy so do that. This bit will be easy all you need to do is not be dumb and expand your libyan colony into west africa. If you want to have middle eastern holdings send troops via british Palestine into syria though this is not necessary. France will focus on britian and its mainland more so you can easily seize french colonies. Use the rest of your troops to destroy french troops in france do not worry about land too much in mainland france. You unless you try to loose will have won. Yugoslavia will be inactive if not he will be allied with you or busy. Now if spain is active and has decent stats he will be your biggest concern so make a deal with spain. There is no specific way you should deal with spain so i cant give advice on it sorry. Now play a bit passive-aggressively. Invade every country that you think will be taken by another power (if it has any strategic significance so don't randomly invade Uruguay) for example steal Mozambique from Portugal before Spain or another power does. Dont go for countries that you can invade anytime. Don't go overboard and be prepared to withdraw in some cases. This should prevent some countries from growing a bit for a while. Remember to have a great navy and great relationships with your ally/ies. I'll give you some examples of places to prioritize: Indonesia ( before Japan or Australia) from the Netherlands, Arabia/Oman(before the Turkish, Persians or Indians take it), Thailand (before the british or french divide it) and the guyanas (Before brazil or france takes it). Don't be to aggressive and try to be sneaky while doing it. Now that you have colonies in many places as Italy you need to secure them either via bordering allies or troops (i don't recommend this) Now i recommend expanding your european lands to control Balkans and the Mediterranean. By now you probably only have 5 or 6 active players and it will be easy.
