Infantry

tactical bombers do 11 damage to infantry, thats the highest in the game dmg against infantry in the game, i think

Tanks also do a fine job... or artillery... battleships on shore bombard... actually most units are good at killing those poor inf's...

They might be any good if you could mass produce them, but you can't... food and manpower requirements prevent that. And even if you have plenty of those, they take too long to build.

So the unit that was most numerous in WW2 is built least of all... most people burn up the ones they get at the start, then very, very few are ever built after that... a real shame actually...

Erm, sorry, the first statement there was wrong. Attacking AT has a HUGE problem killing infantry.

Armored car is the fastest land unit against Infantry if you have but Tactical bombers will do good

Just like a few people said : honestly everything will do the job. (Especially medium/heavy tanks and tactical bombers)

However, that excludes:

- Anti Tank guns, (1.0 in attack, 2.0 in defense against infantry, these stats are doubled at max. level)

- Artillery (Mostly fine at shooting them, but once attacked are very vulnerable to even infantry)

- Anti-aircraft guns (1.0 against both armour and infantry at level 1)

- Tank Destroyers (again, 4.0 in attack and 2.0 in defense at max level)

Sidenote : Infantry are the best units in the game at anti-air defense (excluding anti-air and cruisers of course), so you might prefer artillery + medium tank, although Tactical Bombers at top level will do the job.
