Interceptors can do small damage to buildings, if that is what you are getting at.

Interceptors attacking provinces?
Wondering if any damage occurs when an interceptor bombards a provinces. There is no troops posted in the province of mine or the enemies.

Im just wandering what happens. I dont see any damage occuring to the buildings. So im wondering if the 3 stack of interceptors is just useless or not effective.

It depends on the number of planes but eventually there should be some small damage to buildings. The random factor may cause it to take awhile before you see any damage.

Interceptors are made to attack planes, not cities
If you want to make the real damage to cities i'll recommend you to bomb it with strategical bombers,
If you wanna bombard troops then strategical bombers are good for that
Nuke planes? just mass destruction
