Interceptors & bombers turned into convoys.

So, I went to move my interceptors and bombers from one spot to another on the map, and it immediately turned it into a convoy. Reading some of the comments I understand that is because I chose a spot out of the planes range. So, now my question is,... how do I get them out of convoy mode, or are they stuck there forever ? Can I attack enemy units with my air convoy ( I have one convoy that has 7 interceptors and 8 bombers in it ).

Further to the above,....does anyone know if we can merge armies ? I have straggled units of 1, 2 3 units each, I very much would like to merge them. Any time I build a new unit, it puts it into a new army/brigade, very confusing and somewhat frustrating.

So.......

By convoy u mean convoy TRUCK right?

if it’s convoy TrUCkk then Move TRUCCk to airbase, so it can be a plane

if it’s a convoy sshipp then move it on land then the airbase.

You need to move a plane to a airbase. You can set it on patrol, or you an attack another unit. (Not recommended for interceptor to attack ground units.) Always scan for enemy AA guns before sending bombers. Hope this helps!

Super, I will try moving the convoy to an airfield and trying that. Thanks for the tip.

Any ideas on how I can fix and merge my many armies ? How can I add to an existing army ? Whenever I build it always starts a new army for me.

Imma faint already

So. You move your units into 1 province then move the other one unit

so the 2 unit are in the same placce and they will soon join together

You can read this at any time in the newspaper; on every map always on page / day 0 to 2:Forum attachment

Sorry, but I don't see anything in the manual addressing my question of being able to combine armies. I see how you can split out units from an army, but I don't see how you can merge armies.

Aircraft units automatically combine when they occupy the same airbase, and are fully refueled. You may split a combined air group, either on the ground or in the air, using the "Split" command (split arrow icon) in the unit command pop-up box.

Similarly, ground and naval units will (with some exceptions) automatically combine when they occupy the same space on the game board. And they can be separated in the same manner described above for aircraft units.

Ground units at sea, in the form of transport ships, will similarly combine with naval units in a single convoy stack for protection. The ground units may then be split at or near their destination for disembarkation, invasion, etc.

One caveat: aircraft and rocket ground convoys will not combine with other ground units in a single stack. Likewise, seagoing convoys of aircraft and rockets will not combine with other naval units. Aircraft units can, of course, fly off and on aircraft carriers. Rockets, not so much.
