Interceptors in Forts

Hey, if an interceptor is sitting on the ground at an airbase (not refuelling) , its my understanding that they will defend at full power if attacked by bombers correct? If so and carrying it further, if there is a fort in that territory, will the interceptor still defend at full power AND receive a fort bonus?

Thanks in advance

Yes

It appears to when you select the unit, however my testing of that theory has been inconclusive when I have tried this. My planes seemed to take just as much damage in the fort as they would without the fort. I have NOT extensively tested this, only a few times when the logistics worked out. So I will give a definite "Maybe" to answer your question :D

Thanks Vorlon..

I have also done some simple testing and it also seems to me the interceptors do not get the fort bonus

Thanks for trying it out
