Interceptors vs AA as axis

the ability to pursue enemy bombers, not just defend against them......

Interceptors are glorious yes, but what about AA?

It essentially acts as AT at the same time.

Saving my rare metal for RRGs and instead pumping out AA should prove interesting yes? Also critical if surprise attacked with bombers.

But bloody hell pumping out both is a pain in the ass. Yes different resources but it's the same thing for building normal artillery and then RRGs...surely that's just A LOT of units to create...

Would you say that one is generally more useful than the other so much that somehow I can use only one?

Bit unclear what you're saying, but you're asking which is better, ints or AA? It's hard to compare, but both are necessary. AA is very cheap and produces very quickly, very spammable. Ints are needed as well, for scouts and active interception (hence the name), much more flexible than AA because of the speed differences. Downside is that you can't stack ints with ground units, so they're still vulnerable to air unless you are hella active. Unless you're facing a lot of air, prolly stick to Ints for now but still have some AA to dissuade. When using RRGs tho, you need a lot of AA, might wanna switch to that.
