Interceptors vs rocket fighters as axis

In the first 5 day of the game I would assume that players hasn't yet built a proper airforce.

Then on that case maybe I can skip the entire interceptor tree and go straight for rocket fighters? Especially if am not focusing on building an airforce myself .

it's a risk yes but the reward is beyond juicy.

Skipping a whole tree line is massive.
